Golden Globes 2017: The Nominations Are In

Golden Globes 2017

La La Land looks set to clean up at the Golden Globes...

The Golden Globes 2017 nominations are in and it looks like it’s going to be La La Land’s year with seven nominations, including best comedy or musical, best director, best actress in a comedy or musical and best actor in a comedy or musical.

In second place with six nominations is Moonlight, a drama about a gay black man at three different stages of his life as he grows up in a rough neighbourhood in Miami, starring Mahershala Ali (who plays Remy Danton in House of Cards) and Naomie Harris.

Manchester by the Sea, a total mascara-destroying drama with Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams, who we will be watching closely for immaculate red carpet glamour.

The TV categories were led by The People v OJ Simpson with five nominations, followed by The Night Manager.

All our small screen favourites seem to have nods this year, including Stranger Things, Westworld, The Night Of and The Crown.
