That's Our Gal: Margot Robbie announces her wedding with this cheeky finger slip
Our ultimate girl crush, Margot Robbie has been taken from us as she formally tied the knot with her long time partner and British film director, Tom Ackerley, yesterday. Prepare yourself for some serious bridal/wedding goals (we may cease using the word goals after everything come 2017).
In an intimate ceremony attended by 50 guests in Bryon Bay, the Aussie actress was accompanied down the aisle by her mother, Saire Kessler. But the highlight for us is the catering. Many people spend months pouring over tasting menus but not Margot. Cementing her place as ‘the woman of our time’ Margot chose to serve some of her favourite foods, including pizza and COCO POPS. (Caps added to stress the sass!)
Despite phones and camera being banned at the intimate event images have started to leak of Margot doing bridal. Wearing a strapless white lace dress, with a frilled bust overlay and an off-white waist belt the Wolf of Wall Street star topped her look off with lightly tousled hair, elegantly put back with a loose braid and a ‘this old thing’ attitude. A beautiful boho vibe even Sienna Miller would approve of.
In a pure F YOU to the world’s media Margot confirmed she had tied the knot with an instagram snap. But as was the theme with this wedding it wasn’t your usual glossy bridal snap, the former Home and Away star (remember that?!?) is shown flicking her wedding finger up at the camera. Her engagement ring alone is estimated to be worth between $20,000 to $30,000, with its half sized pear-shaped diamond at its centre.
Images of the groom’s stag do made their way onto Instagram days before the event with the director seen on a ‘lads on tour bus’ wearing pink bunny ears. Cute.
We are now off to mood board our dream wedding in light of Margot’s marvellous nuptials. We. Are. Obsessed.
