No plans this week? Here are team InStyle's suggestions...
1. Finding Dory
Fishy fans everywhere, rejoice. The wait is finally over – Finding Dory opens in UK theatres this Friday, and we’re absolutely delighted. In a world that’s seemingly gone a bit bonkers of late and the news being all doom and gloom, there couldn’t be a better time to indulge in two hours of animated Pixar fun. Featuring the vocal talents of everyone’s favourite dancing chat show host Ellen Degeneres, this is pure escapism at it’s finest. Grab a niece/nephew/godchild and get involved (as if we need an excuse).
2. Qatar Goodwood Festival
Taking place from Tuesday 26th until Saturday 30th July, Qatar Goodwood Festival 2016 is an equine lover’s dream. Showcasing the best of British and international horse racing at its finest, this five-day festival is also a celebration of style, entertainment and sumptuous foodie treats. Expect culinary surprises, champagne and plenty of yummy strawberries. Visit Goodwood.com for ticket information and race schedules.
3. What Soho Wore
Nina Manandhar, photographer and founder of the 'What We Wore' Fashion project, will be in residence at London's The Photographers’ Gallery this July, documenting Soho's rich cultural history through photographs and shared style stories. Culminating in a collective Media Wall, online and final presentation on 18th September, 'What Soho Wore' is essential for all those looking to revisit Soho's lively and iconic scene. Oh, you can also become part of the exhibit. Nina is inviting submissions via email, or alternatively you can drop the pics into the archive on July 29th. Click here for more information...
4. Mussel Men
Summer means seafood, and if cracking crustaceans is your thing (accompanied by a chilled glass of Rosé, obviously) then Mussel Men in Dalston is going to be your new favourite eatery. Showcasing a delicious seasonal menu (which includes hand dived scallops, lobster rolls and the classic Moules Frites, yum) Mussel Men is a great spot for sharing seafood with pals. Try and get a seat in their sun-trap garden, or else chill out sailor style in their nautical-themed bar. Visit Musselmen.com for more details.
5. We Love The '90s Film Fest
Hackney's Space Studios hosts this year's annual 'We Love The '90s Film Festival', beginning July 29th with a screening of Eddie Murphy's classic romantic caper Boomerang. Each screening will be hosted by a different London creative, and there will be plenty of yummy refreshments courtesy of London's finest street food vendors. Tickets start from £9.50. Visit 90sfilmfest.com for more information.
6. Deap Vally
Californian femme-rock duo Deap Vally bring their Femejism tour to the UK for three dates this week, so if you already have a ticket (or know someone that has one), then lucky you. These girls have been shaking up the girrrl scene for a while know, but we anticipate that you won't be seeing them in venues this small again... they are about to go stratospheric. Try your absolute bestest to get inside...
7. The Little Yellow Door's Emoji Only Menu
